Smart Women Series

The Smart Women Series was created by Dr. Yvonne Katz in 2007 mirrored after the famous book by author David Bach titled "Smart Women Finish Rich: 9 Steps to Achieving Financial Security and Funding Your Dreams."  Dr. Katz created this educational series to "empower" women by giving them the opportunity to have discussions with provocateurs that are experts on real life and real business topics that affect women's lives.

2012-2013 Smart Women Series

The final session of the 2012-2013 Smart Women Serieswas held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 - "Smart Women Work Smarter Not Harder" with provocateur Karen Meade of Let's Get Organizing.

The fourth session of the 2012-2013 Smart Women Series was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 - "Smart Women Make Informed Decisions Regarding Their Financial Plan" with provocateurs Dan Prostrollo of Lincoln Financial Group and Barbara Magor of American Investment Planners.

The third session of the 2012-2013 Smart Women Series was held on Wednesday, February 5, 2013 - "Smart Women Plan Their Finances to Last a Long, Long Time" with provocateur Rebecca Hughes of Hughes Financial Consulting.

The second session of the 2012-2013 Smart Women Series was held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 - "Smart Women Maintain Good Health through Preventive Measures" with provocateur Dr. Bernice Gonzalez.

The first session of the 2012-2013 Smart Women Series was held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 - "Smart Women Effectively Utilize Social Media to Protect Their Children and Themselves" with provocateur SAPD Detective George Segura.
