The San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce (SAWCC) was established in the spring of 1988 by the Board of Network Power/Texas. SAWCC was the first chamber to offer a women's leadership series geared towards the styles and traits of female leaders - the Leadership Development Series - which is still offered each year.  SAWCC encourages its members to showcase themselves by providing networking opportunities at luncheons, mixers, the Smart Women Series, and other events.
